Semester 2 2009 Reflection/Review

1. Medium - A medium is what u use to do your painting, drawing, etc. Such as color markers. pencils, paint, etc.

Greenware - It is clay that has not been fired yet.

Craftsmanship - A worker who practices a trade or handicraft.

Relief Printing - It is printing from a raised surface.

Weaving Loom - It is a exaggerated appearance of something on the horizon formed by interlacing strands.

Ceramic Coil Building - Using clay to build objects.

Warp threads - Something that is bended or becomes out of shape that is formed by interlacing strands.

Plagiarism - The act of using someone elses work and calling it your own work.

Vanishing point - The point in a perspective drawing where all the lines come from at the point.

2. I would say Arturo Herrera because he does alot of abstract work and that fascinates me.

3. You have to apply 3 coats of glaze on your ceramics.

4. On the bottom right corner and it has to be in pencil.

5. I think the ceramics because i thought i did a really good job on it.

Printmaking

Semester 1 2008 Reflection

1. Probably either the batik bag or the self portrait because im good at drawing.

2. I would say painting because i get kinda messy when it comes to painting.

3. I think the self portrait because im good at drawing and shading

4. i would say the 3D totem pole because i didnt complete it in time and i did kind of a bad job on making it.

5. I would say draw like something abstract and unique.
